A range of equipment and opportunities, both indoor and outdoor, allows children to be active and interactive in order for them to improve their skills of coordination, control, manipulation and movement. Children learn to move with confidence, enjoyment, imagination and safety, developing awareness of space, of themselves and others.

Children are encouraged in the development of fine motor skills required to use tools, including pencils and scissors, and to handle small objects with increasing control and precision. Children also learn the importance of keeping healthy and the factors that contribute to maintaining their health.
